Trip Cancellation & Refund Policies:

While no one really wants to think about it, Admiral of the Fleet Cruise & Tour Center strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance to protect you and your money from cancellation prior to your cruise as well as emergency coverage during your cruise. While your existing health insurance is still in effect outside the U.S. (with the exception of Medicare, which does NOT cover you outside the U.S.), it does not cover your trip for cancellation/interruption due to illness or death of a family member before as well as during your cruise.
Penalties:
Once you have paid your final payment for your cruise, you are under cancellation penalties from the cruise line and Admiral of the Fleet Cruise & Tour Center. These penalties increase as your departure date gets closer. Penalties can result in the loss of the entire amount paid for your cruise and the cruise lines make NO exceptions. Trip cancellation/interruption insurance will cover these penalties as long as your cancellation is due to an unforeseen covered reason. Some insurance companies will waive pre-existing medical conditions if you purchase the insurance within 14 days of deposit (RBC Insurance does).
Trip cancellation/interruption insurance also covers delayed lost baggage, trip delay, trip interruption (in case you need to return home from the ship for an emergency), emergency medical expenses and medical evacuation, as well as accidental death and dismemberment.
